I was skeptical about getting this toner but I did have no choice as I did exhaust my Some by Mi Toner. After reading so many positive reviews on The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, I was convinced to try it.
The ordinary brand of DECIEM, is a very popular brand within the skincare community. The Ordinary is an evolving collection of treatments offering familiar, effective clinical technologies positioned to raise pricing and communication integrity in skincare. The brand was created to celebrate integrity in its most humble and true form.
I shopped The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner from teeka4 website.

This derivative is of plant origin and varies in colour seasonally and this colour variation may be apparent in the formula from time to time. The tricky part is adding this to your skincare regimen especially when skincare regimen consists of another brand. I’ll be taking this in my next post.

DOES THE ORDINARY GLYCOLIC ACID 7% TONING SOLUTION LIVE UP TO ITS CLAIM?
Yes! It’s over three months I’ve been using this toner and I can say yes, the ordinary glycolic acid 7% toning solution does live up to its claim.
I’ve had a not-too-good experience with the first The Ordinary product I used, that’s the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum and I did almost jump into conclusion on the ordinary brand. I’m glad i did not 😄
If this is your first time with glycolic acid or any direct acid, you will probably get a tingling sensation which is quite normal. On the other hand, if you get a burning sensation- you should discontinue use of product.
I did experience a tingling sensation for couple of weeks while using this as I had not used a product with this high percentage of glycolic acid.
After couple of uses, my skin texture improved, fine lines were also reducing and skin got smoother.
Glycolic acid does make your skin smooth, plump and hydrated with consistent use. And also, it gradually exfoliates dead skin cells and fade dark spots on your face and other parts of your body.
Combine this toner with a simple moisturizer which has no actives in it and your skin will thank you.
I’ll definitely stick to this as my go to exfoliating toner. I was so happy with this product as I purchased two new products from The Ordinary Brand.
I’ve read couple of blogs stating that this toning solution is a dupe to Pixi Glow Tonic. I wouldn’t say as I’m yet to try that. But I can definitely say The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is worth every hype. It’s a 10/10 for me.
Have you used The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner? Do you think it’s a dupe to Pixi Glow Tonic? What’s your favorite product from The Ordinary?
