Hey beauties,

Today I’m going to review the COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner. I know I’m probably the last person to review this but I’m still going to 😉.

It’s been a month since my last blog post. I did decide to take a break. I did miss you all ❤.

Y’all know I can’t live without cosrx skincare products. I opted for the cosrx aha/bha clarifying treatment toner instead or my poreless power liquid this time. Stay tuned to this post so you won’t miss out on any information

COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying treatment toner is a daily, mild exfoliation toner which contains 0.1% of AHA and BHA.

This gentle exfoliating toner gets rid of built-up dead surface skin cells and leave you with smoother skin. It cares for your blackheads and whiteheads daily and gently before they gets bigger and worse.

It’s mild enough to be used everyday routine.

There’s nothing that special about cosrx packaging as the brand focus more on high quality products than packaging. This toner comes in a white background cardbox like all cosrx products with a purple design at right side containing the product name.

Personally, I don’t care about the package. But I really care about what’s inside.

It has a watery texture with fresh finish.

This lightweight , watery type toner with exfoliating ingredients and hydrating ingredients reveals newer, fresher-looking skin but also leaves toned, fresh and clean feeling. PH ranges from 4.0 to 5.0.

Mineral Water, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Water, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Lactate, Glycolic Acid, Water, Betaine Salicylate, Allantoin, Panthenol, Ethyl Hexanediol.

Focusing on the key ingredients;

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water clears pores & get better skin texture

Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Water is effevtivr for evening skin tone and texture

Glycolic Acid (AHA) refines skin texture

Betaine Salicylate (BHA) removes dead skin cells & clear clogged pores

The usage process is pretty simple, As cosrx recommends;

1. After cleansing, soak the cotton pad with the toner and gently wipe onto face, avoiding the eye and mouth area.

2. You can use COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner as a “Toner Mask.” Soak 2 – 3 cotton pads into the toner, and then stick them on desired area.

3. For daytime use, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

Personally, I implemented a different process after trying out cosrx process for about 2 weeks. Soaking the cotton pad with the toner as cosrx recommends will make you spend much more product than if you just spray it on the face and use the pad after this. I started spraying like 3-4 pumps directly on my fave and using a cotton pad to remove the dead skin.

You can use it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. The product is gentle enough and will not irritate your skin.

This treatment toner is a great toner to add to your skincare routine if you are a beginner to chemical exfoliation as it is very mild for the skin.

I wanted a toner that has both combination of AHA and BHA, so I opted for this. However, I did not see too much difference or result using this toner as it might be too gentle for my skin comparing the fact I’m used to stronger exfoliants.

Although this toner did not give me much result in terms of effectiveness, It does creates a clean base as a extension of cleansing step and restores ideal pH of skin for any skincare products that follows which absorbs easily and effectively. Coupled with my other Cosrx skincare products, this toner aids in reducing congestion and blackheads and improves overall skin complexion.

I absolutely recommend using this toner at the beginning of your skincare routine. This will prep your skin for further products to create smoother surface for makeup and make the entire routine much more effective.

Yayy, you made it here! I hope you enjoyed this post 💋. I will be glad to answer any question you have in the comments section below

Much love ❤
