Welcome back to Halsadiya Beauty blog 💃🏾
“An Apple a day keeps the Doctor away” is an old proverb that most of us are familiar with 🍏🍎
Who Doesn’t Love Apples???
Apple’s boost your level of vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid which helps the body produce collagen. Apples are extremely rich in antioxidants, flavonoids and dietary fiber.
● Talking Bout Apple Cider Vinegar 🍎
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is a vinegar made from fermented apple juice. This wonder tonic is rich in raw enzymes, potassium and beneficial bacteria which aid digestion, weight loss, cholesterol levels and more. Apple cider vinegar also has amazing benefits for your hair and skin and has been used to help promote healthy hair for a very long time.
● BENEFITS OF APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
1. AS SKIN TONER
Apple Cider Vinegar contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), a chemical exfoliant; that gently removes dead skin cells and reveal healthy new skin cells. ACV works as an all-natural astringent, working to remove dirt & oil build-ups while maintaining a healthful pH level of the skin.
Always make sure to dilute ACV with water (using 1:3 , i.e 1 tablespoon of ACV diluted with 3 tablespoon of water) to avoid Skin Inflammation or Irritation.
2. SOOTHE & RELIEVE SUNBURN
Apple Cider Vinegar contains acetic acid, which possesses excellent antibacterial activity against micro-organisms. It helps to reverse some of the damage caused by overexposure to the sun’s harmful rays.
3. TO FIGHT ACNE
Because Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural astringent, it helps fight against bacteria that causes acne. ACV has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties, which makes it capable of keeping bacteria at bay and pimples from forming. It works to reduce the levels of acne- causing bacteria and exfoliates the dead skin cells on skin’s surface.
4. REMOVE DANDRUFF & RELIEVE ITCHY SCALP
Dandruff is essentially your body’s inflammatory response to high levels of yeast that may grow on your scalp. Apple Cider Vinegar has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that help dry and itchy scalp. The acids and enzymes in ACV helps to kill the bacteria that cause many scalp and hair conditions such as dandruff & itchy scalp. Apple Cider Vinegar helps lower the amount of yeast growing on your scalp. Rinsing your hair even once a week with an apple cider vinegar mixture has brought relief to many that suffer from dandruff.
5. REMOVES BUILD-UP & CLARIFIES THE SCALP
We all do apply tons of products to our hair- like gels, masks, lot of butters and oils which cause product build-ups. One of the easiest ways to get rid of product build-ups is by using Apple cider vinegar.
ACV helps to clarify and remove buildup blocking the pores on the scalp from results of using many different styling products.
When applying ACV, make sure you let it to sit in the hair for at least five minutes and rinse away. You can also use a mixture of Bentonite Clay and ACV which is also effective in removing build-ups and clarifying the scalp.
6. STIMULATE HAIR GROWTH
Apple Cider Vinegar stimulates hair growth by increasing blood circulation to hair follicles which is vital for encouraging hair growth and preventing hair loss. Apply ACV rinse to your scalp leave on for 30 minutes and rinse. ACV is truly good for everything!!
N.B: ACV rinse mixture rule also apply to the hair i.e. 1 tablespoon of ACV diluted with 3 tablespoon of water. And for larger volume; 1 cup of ACV diluted with 3 cups of water.
7. DEFINES VOLUME & CURLS
Apple Cider Vinegar can also help with volume and curl definition, since it doesn’t weigh down strands like silicone-based conditioners. ACV rinse can make your curls ‘pop’, by bringing back their springy bounce!
8. PREVENT SPLIT ENDS & BREAKAGE
By using an apple cider vinegar rinse regularly, you’ll be naturally removing tangles from your hair, closing the cuticles, improving porosity and encouraging stronger strands – all of which lead to a reduction in split ends and breakage.
9. ADDS SHINE TO HAIR
Apple Cider Vinegar flattens and closes the hair cuticle. The cuticle’s position also affects the light reflecting properties of the strands. When the cuticle is down – as it is after an apple cider vinegar rinse – the hair is better able to reflect light, feel smoother and easier to detangle, shinier, less frizzy, less prone to breakage and more moisturized.
I just grabbed a bottle of ACV from @bellz_nhcc on Instagram. And I getting ready to experiment with it 💃🏾💃🏾
